Angela Billig leads property management at Shook Realty Group as VP of Property Management, overseeing the operations, financial performance, and physical condition of the firm's managed portfolio, currently 42 properties and more than 220 tenants. Her focus is the set of details that quietly determine whether an investment performs: clean financials, disciplined property analysis, well-planned capital improvements, and the steady tenant and vendor communication that keeps a building full and running smoothly. She manages every asset with the owner's bottom line front of mind, as if the return were her own.
Since joining SRG in 2024, Angela has been central to the rapid growth of the firm's management business, helping expand the portfolio from 12 properties to 42 in 18 months, scaling operations without sacrificing the hands-on attention that brings owners to SRG in the first place.
She brings more than 25 years of managing people and financials in fast-moving environments: a well-rounded career across several industries that she draws on every day. Before SRG, Angela handled accounts payable, compliance, and vendor relations at Mattcon General Contracting; served as Foundation Program Manager at the Sharon Bassett Foundation; and bought apparel for the Midwest market at Nordstrom. That range (construction, finance, nonprofit operations, and high-volume retail) is exactly what multi-property management demands, and it shapes how she works: see the whole picture, manage every detail. She studied at Indiana State University.
What keeps her in the business is its pace. Commercial real estate is always changing and always moving. That suits someone whose hands-on work ethic was forged growing up on a family farm and sharpened working retail in Chicago. For Angela, managing people and money in a fast market isn't the hard part of the job; it's the part she likes best.
Angela lives in Zionsville with her husband; their three kids are in college. Away from work she makes time for family, live music, beach travel, and backyard gatherings. She'll gladly point you toward Blue Sushi or a good brunch.
