Christen Dittmer is a commercial real estate broker at Shook Realty Group, where she helps business owners accomplish their leasing and ownership goals. Her current focus is office and retail leasing across Central Indiana, though her practice spans a notable variety of transaction types: buyer and seller representation in land, office, and industrial deals, plus leasing on behalf of both tenants and landlords.
Before commercial real estate, Christen spent 25+ years across retail field leadership, operational and sales management, talent and human resource work, full-cycle recruiting and hiring, and small-business ownership. She joined Shook Realty Group in 2021. That leadership and people-development background informs how she approaches CRE work today: she has been a small-business owner herself and has led retail operations in the field, both perspectives that most commercial brokers don't bring to client conversations.
Recent engagements at Shook Realty Group illustrate the variety Christen brings to client work. She was part of the team on a confidential owner/user disposition of a Central Indiana R&D manufacturing facility, a specialized industrial asset with limited comparable sales that required precise pricing, sophisticated buyer outreach, and complex due diligence management through a multi-building campus. In a separate engagement, she represented a private investor in the acquisition of more than 70 acres of future development land in Noblesville, Indiana. On the landlord side, she partners with Creighton Shook on the Keystone Office Park representation, where she has been instrumental in more than 40 lease transactions completed at the property in the past two years.
Christen holds a Bachelor's degree from the School of Technology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and is a licensed Indiana real estate broker. She also holds Lominger's Certification and Ken Blanchard's Situational Leadership certification, credentials carried over from her prior leadership and talent-development career. She has been a member of Indy CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) since 2021.
