Creighton Shook is Principal at Shook Realty Group, where he leads the firm's brokerage practice across landlord representation, tenant representation, and buyer/seller representation, and drives property management business development. He represents owners, tenants, investors, and owner/users across retail, office, and select industrial assets throughout Central Indiana.
Creighton joined SRG in 2012 after starting his real estate career at FC Tucker. He partners with his father to carry the Shook family's commercial real estate practice into its fifth generation — a practice that has carried the family name since 1915, when the firm was founded in Lafayette, Indiana. The Indianapolis office opened in 2001.
Creighton's representative engagements illustrate the range of his practice. On the brokerage side, he led the confidential owner/user disposition of a Central Indiana R&D manufacturing facility, a specialized industrial asset with limited comparable sales that required precise pricing, sophisticated buyer outreach, and complex due diligence management through a multi-building campus. On the landlord representation side, he has taken Keystone Office Park, a five-building, 116,592 RSF office park, from approximately 55% to approximately 92% occupancy over two years through more than 40 lease transactions including new tenants and renewals. On the property management side, he led the onboarding of a 12-property portfolio, co-managing the assets through the owner's self-managed program during the transition period before seamlessly migrating them onto SRG's systems.
Creighton holds an Indiana real estate broker license and is a CCIM Candidate and CPM Candidate, working toward both designations. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University and attended Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis.
Creighton has served on the board of St. Mary's Early Childhood Centers since 2018 and currently sits as Vice President. He will take over as President beginning July 2026. The organization provides early childhood education and family services for Indianapolis children and families. He is also a member of The Penrod Society, a volunteer arts patron organization that puts on the Penrod Arts Fair — the largest single-day art fair in the country — on the grounds of Newfields each September. Creighton has chaired the fair's traffic and parking committee for the past three years.
Why commercial real estate? In Creighton's own words: "I'm in this business because commercial real estate gives me a viewpoint into a wide variety of industries, businesses, and people — and it never stops fascinating me. Life-long exposure to CRE through my family, a genuine desire to help people, and an insatiable curiosity to learn how other businesses work — that's the combination that brings me to the office every day."
Creighton lives in Carmel, Indiana with his wife and three children. When he's not working, he's outside — hiking, golfing, or finding a good Indianapolis restaurant.
